Patterson 1102 Friday September 22nd from 4:30-5:30 pm in H.J. Patterson 2114 I wanted to let you all know that the ESOL program is in the process of becoming a registered student organization through the University of Maryland. The name of the student organization is the English Conversation Partners at the University of Maryland. We are undergoing this process in the hopes of reaching even more students and being able to put on better programs. As a student organization we would also have access to more meeting locations. This will not change any of the programming that we put on, and we are still going to welcome volunteers from the College Park community.
(Update) Our application as a student organization was accepted and so we are starting to change the wording on our flyers, emails, and websites to reflect the student organization's name "English Conversation Partners at the University of Maryland" or ECP for short. I will have more information at the orientation on the benefits/opportunities provided to us as a student organization. Hello everyone and welcome to the Fall 2017 semester!
