I have already sent out the confirmations for conversation sessions for Mondays. However, I have not been able to do so for the conversation groups on Tuesdays and beyond due to the fact that the TutorTrac System is currently down and I have no way of manually grouping the students. Thus, please find the session that you signed up for and its location. If you signed up for conversation partners, unless you requested for a classroom, please contact your volunteer and find a place to meet on campus. Usually we recommend the Stamp, the Learning Commons in McKeldin Library, the Footnotes in McKeldin, the Applauce section in Performing Arts Center or other places in the Stamp Union. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I will continue to get back to your e-mails if I haven't done so already. Sorry if I have not been able to answer your questions or concerns through e-mail or my office phone for this past week. I caught the flu at the end of last week after staying up to set up for the online registration session. As a result, I have been out of office for the entire week due to my illness. I am currently still recovering and am trying to reply to e-mails from home as my health permits. Feel free to sign up for additional groups. I am going to tell everyone that I am extending the deadline till tomorrow noon (Friday noon) since I was the one sick all week and couldn't answer some of the students' questions/concerns. In the meantime, I will answer as many e-mails and my health permits. Confirmations should still be sent 48 hours before the actual sessions. I put in the request to scheduling office several days later than I anticipated, so we shall see if room assignments can be ready in time. Let's keep our Thank you for your understanding. Several of you have mentioned that you have been experiencing trouble with Tutor Trac. I apologize for the glitches in our system and the inefficiency. Currently there is nothing I can do to fix the slowness/problem as the company is off today. Thank you for your understanding and patience. ~Clare More volunteers are joining our program. Late coming volunteers' availabilities may be put online. I will also pair students up using the back-up schedules that were turned in at the registration/orientation sessions.

I have great news! We were able to fix the glitch in our online system so that the date range for searching availabilities can be from February 18 to February 22. Please inform your friends and peers who are also in this program about this change in the system. I will also e-mail out such information to all the students especially those who were in session 1 and 2. |
